Bath Spa Station

During 2012 ICR was commissioned by Thomas vale Construction to undertake an extensive programme of on-site conservation works to a series of narrow gauge railway artefacts and coal handling equipment within the Grade 2 listed Brunel vaults as part of a £10.5M redevelopment project by the Southgate Limited Partnership.  

The artefacts were conserved in-situ and sensitively integrated into the new architectural scheme thus preserving the historical integrity and contextual identity of the vaults

ICR worked closely with the project stakeholders to deliver conservation best practice within the challenging environment of a major construction project.
