 ICR carried out sensitive surface cleaning and stabilisation

 This traditional railway information sign is not unique but it is an extremely rare example specific to Sturminster Newton Station. Archive photographs reveal that this station originally only had one enamel sign so it’s preservation and display provides a tangible link directly to the railway history of the town and branch line.
